About the Role

We’re looking for an Emerging Talent Program Specialist (Contract) to help bring our internship and Recent College Graduate (RCG) programs to life across the Americas.

This is an early-in-career opportunity for someone who loves making things happen and brings a mix of organization, creativity, and curiosity to their work. You’ll help plan and execute events and experiences, coordinate programs, create engaging communications and social and digital content, and keep multiple work streams moving.

You may be a recent graduate or have some early professional experience. Either way, we’re less interested in how many years you’ve worked and more interested in what you’ve already demonstrated you can do. Relevant experience can come from internships, event planning, campus leadership, student organizations, social media or content creation, volunteer work, or professional roles.

We’re looking for someone who can be both creative and operational. You might spend one day coordinating the details behind an intern event and the next creating a social media asset, building an RCG newsletter, or experimenting with AI to find a smarter way to get something done. You should be highly organized, comfortable taking ownership, have an eye for creating engaging experiences and content, and be excited to learn.

Location

This role is based in San Jose, California and requires regular in-person presence at our San Jose office. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates should be able to work from the San Jose office as required without employer-provided relocation support.

Communications, Content & Community

Create engaging digital and social content that helps tell the Emerging Talent story and builds excitement around our programs and opportunities.

Develop recruiting and program assets, including “I’m Joining,” “Apply Now,” event promotions, social media graphics, and other branded content.

Create and distribute newsletters and communications for interns and Recent College Graduates.

Maintain and update Emerging Talent Hub pages to ensure content is engaging, accurate, and current.

Help build community across intern and RCG Slack channels through creative, timely, and relevant content.

Partner with Recruiting and Communications teams on content that showcases our Emerging Talent programs and participant experiences.

Use AI-enabled and creative tools to brainstorm, develop, and improve content while maintaining brand standards.

Track engagement and feedback to understand what content resonates and identify opportunities to improve.

Required Qualifications

0-3 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.

Current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.

Demonstrated experience planning and executing a project, program, event, or digital/social campaign or experience. Experience may come from internships, campus organizations, student leadership, volunteer work, or professional roles.

Experience creating digital content, social media assets, presentations, newsletters, or other visual communications using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar platforms.

Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage details, timelines, and multiple priorities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for engaging, audience-appropriate content.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate, build relationships, and follow through on commitments.

Practical experience using AI-enabled tools for research, content creation, analysis, automation, problem-solving, or improving how work gets done.

Curiosity, initiative, creativity, and a willingness to learn, experiment, and take ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

Internship or early professional experience in event management, social media, journalism, content creation, marketing, communications, program management, recruiting, HR, or employee experience.

Experience planning events such as conferences, campus programs, recruiting events, employee events, hackathons, or community experiences.

Experience coordinating event logistics, including scheduling, vendors, communications, attendee management, and day-of execution.

Experience creating branded social media assets or digital campaigns for an organization, student group, employer, or other community.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar design and content creation tools.

Experience creating content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Slack, or other digital communities.
