The Mentoring Program connects students on campus with members of the Gustavus alumni community. The Gusties Connect, powered by PeopleGrove, platform allows mentees to be matched with mentors and to connect/network with other alumni that are a part of the community.
To join the Gustavus Mentoring Community as either a mentor or mentee, register today! Registration for the 2025-2026 formal mentoring program will open August 1st, 2025, but remains open throughout the year.
All current students and alumni are encouraged to experience the mentorship program!
Mentoring pairs work together to:
- Assist in preparing students for the transition to professional life upon graduation
- Realization that many career paths are non-linear and encourage students to keep an open mind and explore varied possibilities
- Accept coaching to enhance and develop interpersonal, professional, and leadership skills
- Assist in building a professional network
The program runs October – April. Mentoring pairs are expected to make contact at least once per month. Conversation starters will be provided to offer guidance on discussion topics.
Current Mentees and Mentors will be automatically re-enrolled each year.
