The Four-Year Journey Preview
Discover how your interests, values, and strengths lead to a major (and career) you love. The Center for Career Development is embedded into your First Term Seminar course and you can take part in a variety of events and workshops. This is also a great time to learn about the variety of careers that exist.
Gain experience on-campus from classrooms, student employment, or involvement in student organizations. You’ll continue reflecting on what you’ve learned about yourself and where you see yourself in the world of work. This is also the time to decide on your Signature Experience – from study away, to research, or an internship.

- The Signature Experience (SigX): Every Gustie is guaranteed a hands-on learning experience with funding available to make it happen.
- Mentorship that Matters: We match 20% of students (over 400) each year with alumni mentors who have walked the same halls and are now leading in their fields.
- Real Results: Every year, 9 out of 10 Gustie graduates are employed, enrolled in graduate school, or volunteering, within nine months of graduation.
