Minnesota Alliance With Youth

Through service, the Minnesota Alliance With Youth develops leaders who foster young people’s individual assets, honor their voices, and prepare them to reach their goals.

The Alliance proudly stewards the Minnesota Youth Council, a group of 36 young people from across the state who amplify the voices of their generation to the governor and state legislature to create policies that work for all.

The Council serves as liaison between young people statewide, youth-led and youth-serving organizations, and the adults elected to lead Minnesota from the capitol in Saint Paul. Through their official role advising the Governor and state legislature, Council representatives are building a state where all decisions that affect young people are made with and by young people.
