First Lutheran Church of Geneseo, Illinois is seeking our next Director of Worship & Music. First is a vibrant congregation of faithful disciples with a strong history of excellent music in Worship. Our full-time Director of Worship & Music will plan and coordinate two weekend worship opportunities and all special services; accompany the congregation’s song; direct vocal and handbell choirs and a praise team; work with children and youth during weekly programming and as worship volunteers; and be an integral part of our Program Staff. Our Program Staff includes a Pastor, a Pastoral Intern, a Parish Administrator, a Director of Youth & Family Ministry, and a Communications Specialist. Our support staff includes a Livestream Technician, with whom the Director works closely for our weekly livestream worship.
