What was/is your career opportunity/experience (i.e. internship, shadowing experience, research)?
I will be on the Utility Scale Development team working on renewable energy projects for the Dakotas region. My tasks with deal with site screening, researching relevant policies, stakeholder correspondence, market analysis, and more.
How did you get the opportunity/experience? What steps did you take to achieve this?
I applied on Handshake and had two virtual interviews and then was offered the position
Who were some of the people who helped you most at Gustavus to get this opportunity? What did you learn from them?
Hector Aguilar encouraged me to apply to as many internships as I could sooner rather than later and gave me feedback on my resume, and advised me on best practice with politeness with potential jobs!

I also work at The Center for Career Development as a Peer Career Advisor and I’m happy to help others through this process now that I know how it works!
