What was/is your career opportunity/experience (i.e. internship, shadowing experience, research)?
I was able to attend the Harvard Conference about Ukraine together with Razom for Ukraine | Ukraine on Campus (Which is actually my internship now and I get to organize something extremely cool but thats another topic!). There, I met some students that told me about Harvard Medical School Pre-Health Conference. I applied, got accepted with a scholarship to attend it for free, and applied for Engaged Learning Fund.
How did you get the opportunity/experience? What steps did you take to achieve this?
I got a chance to attend World’s Biggest Harvard Medical School Pre-Health Conference in Boston! I had a chance to hear from medical school’s deans of admissions; talk with some Ivy League Medical Schools, Kaplan, MCATBros; learn how to suture from Harvard surgeons and mainly I GOT TO PRESENT my Gustavus research among other 11 people who got accepted to present.
Who were some of the people who helped you most at Gustavus to get this opportunity? What did you learn from them?
My Professors and the Center for Career Development!!
How did the Engaged Learning Funds help you be able to complete this experience?
They gave me a chance to pay for my flight and housing!
